Event Manager
Key responsibilities:
Plan and organize events such as business seminars, conferences, networking events and gala dinners
Develop event concepts, themes, and budgets in collaboration with the rest of the AustCham team
Work with event suppliers such as venues, catering, and audio-visual companies to ensure smooth event operatios
Develop event marketing and communication plans to promote events to members and stakeholders
Manage event registration and ticket sales through online platforms
Provide on-site event coordination to ensure seamless execution
Manage event budgets, expenses, and invoicing
Essential qualities:
Strong organizational and project management skills
Fluency in English and Mandarin
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Advantageous qualities:
Degree in business, hospitality, marketing, media or related fields
Experience in event management
Graphic design skills
Knowledge of media production
