Alumni Awards Community Established in ACAA

The Australia China Alumni Association (ACAA)  has launched its Alumni Awards Community with three networking events in Sydney (May) , Shanghai (June) and Beijing (July).  These reunion events were organized for Australia China Alumni Awards winners and finalists of the past 14 years. Each event was hosted by ACAA Executive Committee members or senior ACAA volunteers. The Shanghai event was

Sydney cohosted by Austcham Shanghai, ACAA’s

partner. Australian Embassy and Consulate-General representatives attended in China, and a senior university representative in Sydney.

Since its inception in 2009, the ACAA Annual Alumni Awards have recognized over 700 finalists. including 140 winners, for their outstanding contributions in various fields, including corporate achievement, academic excellence, entrepreneurship, artistic creativity, and social responsibility.

The aim of the Alumni Awards Community, as an exclusive alumni grouping, is to play a positive role in the professional lives of members as well as in the Australia-China relationship. The events gave Australia’s top alumni and experts a chance to network and discuss what activities of interest could be organised in the future.

Alumni Award Community events will be organised shortly in Guangzhou, Shanghai and other venues.

Finalists and winners of this year’s 15th Australia China Alumni Awards will be invited to join the Community. Don’t forget to nominate this month for the Awards! (Information at http://awards.austchinaalumni.org/nominations/how-to-nominate/)
